About Ben

Ben Keen joined Beasley Allen’s Atlanta office in 2018. He focuses on catastrophic injury cases, including tractor-trailer accidents.

Ben’s passion for law was inspired by his father, who is also an attorney. In 2024, Ben was honored with the Southeastern Legal Awards’ “On the Rise” recognition. This award celebrates young legal professionals under 40 who are innovators, develop unique practice areas, build impressive client bases, exhibit strong leadership, excel in litigation or transactional work, and dedicate themselves to pro bono, charitable, and professional volunteer efforts.

Ben is known for his analytical approach, ensuring effective representation and impactful results. He has successfully recovered millions for his clients by understanding and addressing their unique needs. Notable cases include securing $1,150,000 in a disputed liability case against a rideshare company, a $700,000 settlement in a trucking case with $24,000 in medical bills, a $1,500,000 settlement in a trucking case involving a broken arm, a $750,000 settlement in a nail salon negligence case, a $900,000 settlement in a car wreck case, a $300,000 settlement in a dog bite case, and numerous six-figure policy limits results.

He is involved in a variety of legal organizations, including the Georgia State Bar, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Southside Metro Atlanta Trial Lawyers Association.

In his free time, Ben loves hanging out with his wife, Sarah, their daughter and French Bulldog, Winnie Lou. He’s a music enthusiast and enjoys various outdoor activities. He is passionate about his family and enjoys cooking for them and his friends.

Education

Ben earned his Juris Doctorate from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in May 2018. He also broadened his academic horizons by studying at Cambridge University and Sidney Sussex College in England through a study abroad program. During law school, Ben was named “Best Advocate” and consistently made the Dean’s List while actively participating in prestigious teams and forums. He gained valuable experience as a law clerk in both civil litigation and criminal defense.

In his senior year, Ben served as class President, Associate Justice of the Advocacy Program, and he was selected by his peers to deliver the Graduation Farewell Address during the 2018 graduation ceremony. He holds a B.A. from the University of Mississippi, obtained in 2013.
