About Ben
Ben Locklar started his journey at Beasley Allen in 2005. He focuses on cases involving defective products.
He is known for his compassion and dedication to helping others, which brings him the greatest joy. Ben’s excellence in the legal field has earned him regular recognition on the Best Lawyers in America list since 2017 and the Midsouth Super Lawyers list since 2018.
Ben has handled a diverse range of cases, including mesothelioma, nursing home abuse, automobile and non-automobile product liability, car accidents, and more, achieving significant verdicts and settlements. One of his most notable cases occurred early in his career; he won a seven-figure verdict for a young woman who contracted herpes from a doctor. Another impactful case involved a young couple whose child died due to a medication error at a hospital, highlighting the human side of medical mistakes. Ben has also handled numerous other memorable cases, including a recent one involving twin children who perished in a house fire, a patient who died from a fire related to a medical product, and a baby who died due to a faulty bedding product, among many other tragic incidents.
He is a highly respected attorney with a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating. Ben has served on the editorial board for The Docket, a publication of the Montgomery County Bar Association, and on the board of trustees for the Montgomery County Association for Justice. Additionally, he was a member of the Paralegal Studies/Legal Studies Advisory Committee at South University.
