Elliot Bienenfeld

Elliot Bienenfeld is an attorney in the firm’s Toxic Torts Section, based in the Atlanta office. Throughout his career, Elliot has worked on large-scale complex litigation cases, with a particular focus on the intersection of technology and law. Elliot’s experience at the firm includes multiple cases against opioid manufacturers and distributors for their roles in the nation’s opioid crisis, as well as water pollution cases relating to PFAS and other contaminants.   

Before joining the firm in 2021, Elliot was a discovery attorney and project manager for a firm specializing in customized solutions for managing electronically stored information (ESI) in legal matters. He advised clients on records management and data preservation through document production and deposition preparation. In addition to general discovery, Elliot acquired experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, and data breach response. 

Elliot lives in Atlanta with his two dogs, Sushi (a Jack Russell terrier) and Walter (a very exuberant labradoodle).  He has a small but close-knit family that lives in Israel. Elliot enjoys visiting them at least once every year. In his spare time away from work, Elliot enjoys taking walks with his dogs and exploring the city.

Education

A graduate of Yeshiva of the Nation’s Capital, Elliot earned a B.A. in Talmudic Law. He earned a J.D. from Emory University School of Law.  While at Emory, Elliot was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal.
