About Rob
Rob Register is a trial lawyer committed to assisting individuals and their loved ones in cases involving significant harm, such as brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, burns and wrongful death. Rob works in Beasley Allen’s Atlanta office as part of our Personal Injury and Products Liability Section.
He has consistently secured millions of dollars for his clients while relentlessly holding accountable the parties responsible for medical malpractice, product liability, and commercial carrier lawsuits.
Background
For more than 24 years, Rob has been practicing law and focusing on complex catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation.
He started his career in 1998 at a Georgia defense firm where he represented corporations, doctors and hospitals.
After spending many years on the defense side, Rob realized his passion was representing those whose lives had been shattered due to the negligence of others. Since 2003, he has dedicated his career solely to this cause.
Professional Associations
Rob previously served as the General Practice and Trial Section chair for the State Bar of Georgia. He currently sits on the Board of Governors for the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. From 2011 to 2023, he has been the chairperson for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s Jury Trial Seminar, which attracts over 250 attendees on average and is broadcast statewide.
Rob serves in various leadership roles within several national legal organizations devoted to upholding high standards of lawyer competency and protecting the right to trial by jury in civil cases. He chaired the 2015 Professional Liability Section of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association’s annual convention.
Awards and Recognitions
Atlanta Magazine has recognized Rob as a Top Attorney in Georgia, and his peers have chosen him as a Georgia Super Lawyer (2017-2023). He has been selected as a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers every year since 2012.
The National Trial Lawyers organization selected Rob as a Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyer in 2012 and 2013. He was selected to the Best Lawyers in America for 2022.
Publicity
Rob leads personal injury seminars annually and frequently speaks nationwide on trial practice, professional negligence and commercial vehicle litigation.
Education
Rob received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from North Georgia Military College in 1995. He went on to earn his law degree from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. During his time in law school, Rob was a part of the Law Review. He has also served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Community Involvement
When he’s not working, Rob volunteers for several organizations. He, his wife Brie and their boys Ryder and Bryce attend Northpoint Community Church in Alpharetta.
