Wyatt P. Montgomery

Wyatt Montgomery joined Beasley Allen’s Mobile office in 2021. He focuses his practice on personal injury cases, helping those injured and supporting victims’ families.

Before joining Beasley Allen, he gained valuable experience at other plaintiff law firms in Alabama. His passion lies in helping others.

Wyatt’s most memorable case involved a tragic car accident in Indiana that claimed the life of a young mother, leaving behind her three-year-old daughter. While nothing could replace her mother, Wyatt and his team worked tirelessly to secure a financial future for the little girl. This case resulted in the largest settlement or verdict of Wyatt’s career at the time, showcasing the profound impact that being an attorney at Beasley Allen can have on those in need. Additionally, Wyatt was part of a trial team that achieved a $160 million verdict.

He is an active member of the Alabama State Bar and serves on the Executive Committee of the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section. Additionally, he is involved with the Alabama Association for Justice, the Birmingham Bar Association, and the Mobile Bar Association.

The Chatom, Alabama native loves spending quality time with his wife and daughter. When he’s not in the courtroom, you can find him hunting, fishing, or cheering on Alabama Football. He also enjoys cooking with his family and the time they share together in the kitchen.

Education

Wyatt is a proud graduate of the University of Alabama, where he earned dual degrees in political science and journalism in 2010. He continued his education at Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, graduating in 2013.

During law school, Wyatt was a standout in the trial advocacy program, competing in national competitions like the Michigan State National Mock Trial Competition and the National Trial Competition. He also served on the Board of Advocates, participating in moot court competitions and organizing events like the J. Greg Allen Mock Trial Competition.

Wyatt’s leadership skills shone through as he was elected to the Student Bar Association for all three years, serving as Senator, Vice President, and President. He was honored with the prestigious Dean’s Scholarship and received the Advocacy Award at graduation, recognizing his commitment to the ideals of Jones School of Law.
